"PA Pathway to Success" Program Graduates Eight Students

Marywood University's Department of Workforce Education graduated eight students from the PA Pathway to Success (PAPS) program on September 3, 2010.

The Marywood PA Pathway to Success program is funded by a $100,000 grant by the Department of Labor Industry. The program is in response to both the skills needs of the regional healthcare providers and the career needs of disadvantaged and dislocated workers. The program focuses on industry and workforce and offers adult students the opportunity to receive a GED. Upon completion, students transition into a Nurse Aide Training class and prepare to take the Nurse Aide Competency Exam. The program also provides job coaching and career planning.  For more information on the PA Pathway to Success, please call 570-340-6062.
