Celebrating Diversity with Food, Dance, and Song

The Office of International Relations will be hosting an event in celebration of cultural diversity on Friday, March 21, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Liguori Center.
This year's event coincides with the Kurdish New Year (Newroz). People from several other countries also celebrate the holiday. The celebration will include ethnic food, beverages, music and Kurdish dance. President Sister Anne Munley, IHM, Ph.D. will speak at the gathering.
Several federal, state and local officials are expected at the event along with Marywood Board President, Attorney Marion Munley and Karwan Zebari, Kurdish Representative to the United States. Dr. Ali Saeed, the Kurdish Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research will present a video greeting.
