Marywood University presents a screen adaptation of the Battle of Wyoming by Bill Bachman on Monday, June 7 at 7 p.m. in the Comerford Theater, Center for Natural and Health Sciences.
The Battle of Wyoming is one of the American Revolution's bloodiest battles that occurred in Northeast Pennsylvania on July 3, 1778. American colonists fought British regulars and their Indian allies for control of eastern Pennsylvania. Bill Bachman, director of the film, and a direct descendant of a combatant from the battle, will include commentary during the film. In addition, historic interpreter, Robert Mischak, will demonstrate Colonial war weaponry and camp gear.
