Senior Exhibition 2010

Senior Exhibition 2010

The Marywood University Art Department and Galleries will present Senior Exhibition & Open House April 17 - 25 in the Mahady Gallery, Shields Center for Visual Arts. The exhibit opens on April 17 with a reception from 2-5p.m. and features the artwork of 61 students graduating in May and December of 2010. In addition, their artwork and portfolios will be on display throughout the various studios and exhibition areas in both the Shields Center for Visual Arts and the Insalaco Center for Studio Arts. Doug Smith Improvisational Ensemble will be providing musical accompaniment to complement the opening reception.

The undergraduate group exhibition presents work in the concentrated studies of art education, art therapy, graphic design, illustration, painting, photography, and sculpture. Students will be receiving a bachelor of fine arts (BFA) or bachelor of arts (BA) degree, depending on their area of study.

Other exhibitions in the two art buildings will also be open: The Maslow Study Galley for Contemporary Art will be featuring Generations Mix & Meet, Part II (the exhibition pairs student work with selections from The Maslow Collection).
