Dr. White Publishes Chapter in American Indian Women in Administration

Dr. Joyce White published a chapter, "American Indian Women in Administration" in H. Ol Vakalahi and W. Peebles-Wiolkins (Eds) Women of Color on the Rise: Leadership and Administration in Social Work Education and the Academy. NY: Columbia University Press, November, 2009.

Dr. White is founder and first president of the American Indian/Alaska Native Social Work Educators' Association. The Association sponsors an annual research symposium, mentors and supports American Indian/Alaska Native students in doctoral programs, and serves as a constituent group for American Indian/Alaska Native social workers and social work educators. Dr. White also serves on the Commission on Accreditation, Council on Social Work Education.
