The Speech-Language-Hearing Club raised $1,400 for the Scranton Lackawanna Human Development Agency, Head Start, to purchase education items such as AAC devices, computers and peripheral computer devices and other related materials like clinical tests and software. Students raised $700 by hosting a Cold Stone Creamery Night and by selling department t-shirts and bags. In addition, the Club received a matching Community Service Grant of $700 in support of their project from the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA).
