Marywood University's Speech-Language- Hearing Clinic will offer hearing screenings on November 10 and November 12 from 9a.m.- 1p.m. and on November 14 from 9a.m.-11a.m. in the William G. McGowan Center for Graduate and Professional Studies. The screenings are free and open to the public.
"The Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at Marywood University is proud to provide this service to the community to promote good hearing health." stated Andrea Novak, MA, CCC-SLP, clinic director at Marywood University.
The Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic is staffed by Pennsylvania licensed and American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) certified audiologists and speech language pathologists. The clinic provides comprehensive audiological evaluations, hearing aid evaluations and fittings, assistant listening device consultations and central auditory processing assessments to people of all ages. Additionally, the clinic offers therapy programs.
Both graduate and undergraduate students study in the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, which has six therapy rooms, two diagnostic rooms, a play group language room and an audiological suite area.
