On Thursday, Sept. 8 at 11:00 a.m., the Marywood University community will gather for our 97th annual Mass of the Holy Spirit. Faculty, staff, and students from across the University are welcome and encouraged to be part of music ministry for this special liturgy.
Rehearsals will be held in the Sette LaVerghetta Theatre at the following times and you do not have to attend every one:

WEDNESDAY, SEPT 7 -- 11:30 a.m.-1:00p.m.

10:00-11:00 a.m. rehearsal in Marian Chapel, Swartz Center for Spiritual Life (rain venue, Sette LaVerghetta Theatre)
11:00 a.m. Opening Liturgy begins

There will be an Ongoing Nutritious Food Drive for the local food pantries that will continue all year long as part of our year long service. We will begin the week of September 6. There are collection boxes in: Human Resources, Outside the Marian Chapel, McGowan Atrium, and Healthy Family Center Lobby.
The NACA East Coast Region invites applicants for the Thomas E. Matthews Scholarship for Student Leaders. Scholarships are to be used for educational expenses, including tuition, books, fees or other related expenses. Students who meet the criteria below are encouraged to apply:
*Be matriculated undergraduate students in good standing at the time of the application and during the semester in which the award is received
*Hold significant leadership positions on their campuses
*Have made significant contributions to their campus communities
*Have demonstrated leadership skills and ability
*You must be a U.S. Citizen

There will be an Interfaith Prayer Service on Sunday, Sept. 11, 7:30 p.m. in the Rotunda, Liberal Arts Center, to remember all those who lost their lives 10 years ago, during the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Flight 93. Please join us. All are welcome.
Pledge Cards - Fill out a service pledge card: September 8 and 9 in the Fireplace Lounge.
Luminaries - Decorate a luminary bag in memory of the 10th anniversary of September 11th. Thursday Sept. 8 - Sunday, Sept. 11. Pick up your luminary bag in a residence hall, the SALD Office, Campus Ministry or the Counseling Center. They can also be picked up at the Service Pledge Card Table in the Fireplace Lounge.
Wall of Remembrance - There will be a Wall of Remembrance for prayers of remembrance and hope at the Opening Picnic and all the events listed. Please leave a prayer, a remembrance, a story, or any statement of peace.
