Christmas Tree Lighting a Tradition, Celebration of the Season Mon, December 05, 2011 On Tuesday, December 6, the Marywood community will kickoff the holiday season with the annual Christmas tree lighting in the Rotunda, a tradition that has humble beginnings.
Chamber Singers to Give Annual Christmas Concert Tue, November 29, 2011 The Chamber Singers' annual Christmas concert will take place Friday, December 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Marian Chapel. Admission is free.
Thank You! The Nutritious Food Drive Will Continue Mon, November 28, 2011 For the Fall 2011 semester, we provided the local pantries with approximately 36 boxes of food. Your help has been very much appreciated!! The Nutritious Food Drive for the local food pantries will continue all year long as part of our year long service. We will begin the week of September 6. There are collection boxes in: Human Resources, Outside the Marian Chapel, McGowan Atrium, and Healthy Family Center Lobby. We have already sent 9 baskets of food to the local Bread Basket.
Worldwide Candle Lighting - December 11, 2011 - 7 p.m., Conference Room B, Swartz Center for Spiritual Life Mon, November 28, 2011 The local candle lighting will be part of a special service held promptly at 7 p.m. and will feature music, an interfaith service, reading of the names of all children, and others, who have passed away, a table of remembrance and time for fellowship and sharing. If you have lost a child or would like to remember someone who has passed away at any time, please join with us.
