The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Marywood University will offer free hearing screenings on Monday, February 1, from 9 a. m. - 5 p. m., and Tuesday, February 2, from 1 p. m. - 5 p. m., in Room 1092, William G. McGowan Center for Graduate and Professional Studies. The screenings are for education students only.
Marywood University's Dean of the Architecture School, Greg Hunt, FAIA, was named the 2009 recipient of the Virginia Society American Institute of Architects' (AIA) most prestigious award, the William C. Noland Medal. The Noland Medal is the highest honor bestowed upon a member of the Society. The award is given to an architect who has established a distinguished body of accomplishments, sustained over time, which spans a broad spectrum of the professions and transcends the scope of normal professional activities.
