Environmental artist Jackie Brookner will offer an illustrated lecture about her work at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24 in the Learning Resources Center, Room 160. Her lecture is part of the Fresh Perspectives-New Solutions: Visiting Environmental Artist Series.
Marywood University came to the aid of public broadcaster WVIA 89.9 FM over the weekend when the regional PBS broadcaster's transmitter building burned in an electrical fire on Friday. Marywood's Director of Broadcast Operations, Ernie Mengoni, immediately responded to the PBS broadcaster's troubles by offering the use of the University's broadcast signal, WVMW 91.7 FM, for several hours each day until WVIA can re-organize their radio transmission.
The academic library journal, Reference Services Review, will publish the article, "What Net Generation Students Really Want: Determining Library Help-seeking Preferences of Undergraduates" by Lizah Ismail, Assistant Professor, Library Services.
