Due to a new Federal law, Marywood University undergraduate and graduate students who wish to borrow under the Federal Student Loan Programs for the 2010-2011 academic year MUST complete new Entrance Counseling and complete a new Master Promissory Note (MPN) with the U.S. Department of Education no later than May 15, 2010.
Marywood University will display the Masters Exhibition May 1- June 25 in the Suraci Gallery, Shields Center for Visual Arts. Masters Exhibition features work by three graduate students; Nancy Engleman (painting), Deborah Hamburger (printmaking), and Ashlee LaPlant (painting). The opening reception will be on Saturday, May 1 from 5-7p.m.
Marywood University will present Graduate MFA Exhibition from May 1- June 25. The exhibition consists of five graduate students; Jennifer Bulay (painting), Ryan Hnat (painting), Marguerite Innes (photography), Heather Remley (printmaking), and Skip Sensbach (ceramics). The exhibit will be held in the Mahady Gallery, Shields Center for Visual Arts with an opening reception on Saturday, May 1, from 5-7 p.m.
The Marywood University Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Nathaniel F. Parker, will present their final performance of the 2009-2010 season on Sunday, April 25, at 4p.m. in the Holy Family Residence Auditorium (2500 Adams Ave.). The concert is open to the public and admission is free. The program will feature classical and pops favorites in the style of the BBC Proms concerts. The program includes Schubert's "Unfinished" Symphony, Sibelius's tone poem Finlandia, and celebrated works from the American musical theater repertoire, such as Bernstein's West Side Story, Willson's The Music Man, and a medley of songs by Irving Berlin.
