Dr. Megan Leasher, Manager of Talent Assessments at Macy's Inc., will present a lecture on Tuesday, November 9 at 4 p.m. in Room 2036, McGowan Center for Graduate and Professional Studies. In addition, Dr. Leasher will present a colloquium, The Employee Life Cycle: Opportunities for Clinical and I/O Psychologists, on Wednesday, November 10 at 4 p.m.

Take a tag from one of the trees and return the tag with and "unwrapped gift" for an underprivileged child, teenager or homeless person to the Campus Ministry Office, Swartz Center for Spiritual Life. Trees are located at the entrance to the Marian Chapel, outside the First Stop Cafe in Regina Hall, in the Fireplace Lounge of Nazareth Hall, in the lobby of the Center for Healthy Families and in the atrium of the McGowan Center.
The October 2010 edition of the Journal of Traumatic Stress is publishing the results of a study of diagnosis of trauma in the lives of at risk youth in northeastern Pennsylvania. This study, "Underdiagnosis of posttraumatic stress disorder in at risk youth," was authored by Mr. Drew Miele and Dr. Edward O'Brien. Miele is a former student in the Psychology and Counseling Department at Marywood University and Dr. O'Brien is the former chair of the Psychology and Counseling Department.
