Marywood University Students Win Addy Awards Thu, April 15, 2010 Marywood University students win Addy Awards from the AAF Northeast PA Chapter. The ADDY awards are the world's largest advertising competition with over 60,000 entries annually submitted. The ADDY awards recognize all forms of advertising, from types of media to entrants from various levels around the world. The American Advertising Federation conducts the ADDY Awards through its 15 districts and 200 member clubs. It is the sole award program in the advertising industry.

Senior Exhibition 2010 Wed, April 14, 2010 The Marywood University Art Department and Galleries will present Senior Exhibition & Open House April 17 - 25 in the Mahady Gallery, Shields Center for Visual Arts. The exhibit opens on April 17 with a reception from 2-5p.m. and features the artwork of 61 students graduating in May and December of 2010. In addition, their artwork and portfolios will be on display throughout the various studios and exhibition areas in both the Shields Center for Visual Arts and the Insalaco Center for Studio Arts. Doug Smith Improvisational Ensemble will be providing musical accompaniment to complement the opening reception.
