Students from Marywood University's School of Architecture and Interior Architecture will showcase an art installation celebrating architecture and literature at Shopland Hall, Scranton Cultural Center, as part of the Pages and Places Book Festival. The installation will be on display Saturday, October 2 from 2 - 5 p.m.
Marywood University School of Social Work received the Catholic Charities USA Centennial Medal on Monday, September 27, in the Library of Congress, Washington D.C. The award recognizes Marywood's contributions to the reduction of poverty in the United States and its commitment to the principles of Catholic Charities USA. Catholic Charities USA will presented Centennial medals to 100 recipients, chosen by a Centennial Medal Committee.
