Masters Exhibition Displays Work of Graduate Students
Marywood University's Art Department presents the Masters Exhibition by two Master of Arts in Art Education students, Kimberly Borsuk and Jennifer Piconi. The exhibit opens with a reception on Saturday, Decemeber 5 from 5 - 7 p.m. It will be displayed through December 17, in the Suraci Gallery, Shields Center for Visual Arts.

Marywood University Professor Hosts Community Screening of Race to Nowhere – A Documentary Exploring Standardized Testing in Schools
Marywood University Assistant Professor of Education and Educational Leadership, Dr. Joseph Polizzi will be hosting a community showing of the hitting education expose documentary, Race to Nowhere at the Dietrich Theater on East Tioga Street at 1:30pm Sunday, December 5. A discussion session with a panel of seasoned education experts spanning specialties and experiences will be included in the presentation. Race to Nowhere is part of a nationwide movement of community screenings that use the film as the centerpiece for a growing national dialogue on the dangers and pitfalls of education's current "race to nowhere" mentality and ignite a call for change.
