Tue, April 20, 2010Marywood University's Attention Disorders Clinic will host its first Focus Festival on Wednesday, April 21 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. in the Latour Room, Nazereth Center. The Focus Festival will increase student awareness of the factors that enhance and impair attention and concentration. Students will compete in a variety of attention and memory challenges, as well as learn about web sites that can improve attention, concentration, and working memory. Students also have the opportunity to play games that actually move objects based on "brain activity."

Fri, April 16, 2010Marywood University will hold two groundbreakings today; the new Aquatics Center and Woodland Residence Halls. The new Aquatics Center will be next to the Mellow Center for Athletics and Wellness at 11:30a.m. The Woodland Residence Halls will be next to the baseball field and will begin at 1:30p.m. They are both scheduled to open in Fall 2010.
Thu, April 15, 2010Marywood University students win Addy Awards from the AAF Northeast PA Chapter. The ADDY awards are the world's largest advertising competition with over 60,000 entries annually submitted. The ADDY awards recognize all forms of advertising, from types of media to entrants from various levels around the world. The American Advertising Federation conducts the ADDY Awards through its 15 districts and 200 member clubs. It is the sole award program in the advertising industry.
