Tue, January 24, 2012On Wednesday night, February 1, 2012, Marywood University Women's and Men's Basketball Teams will take on Philadelphia Biblical University in the Mellow Center. All monies raised during this event, including admission fees collected at the door, and a 'donation net' will be given to Catholic Relief Services to provide malaria nets for children in Africa. According to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, nearly 1 million people die from malaria each year, most of them children in Africa. Any donations for the event can be sent to Sr. John Michele in Campus Ministry, Swartz Center for Spiritual Life, any time before Feb. 15, 2012.
