In his new position, he will serve as chief academic officer of the University, where he will provide leadership to the deans and faculty; oversee academic policy and priorities; maintain educational excellence, and provide oversight responsibility for the recruiting, hiring, retention, and performance of faculty.

In his new position, he will manage the Human Physiology Lab and will conduct research with students on obesity, athletes, and aging.
Lloyd Lyter, Ph.D. Named Interim Dean of College of Health and Human Services
Wed, August 25, 2010Lloyd L. Lyter, Ph.D. has been named Interim Dean of the College of Health and Human Services. In his new position, he will be responsible for the operation of the departments of Health and Physical Education, Nursing and Public Administration, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physician Assistant Program, School of Social Work, and the Human Physiology Lab. Dr. Lyter will also be mentoring independent studies for the fall.
