The Marywood University Symphony Orchestra and guest musicians will perform a family friendly concert featuring a world premier by composer, Karen Naifeh-Harmon. The piece, Celtic Princess of the Danube, tells the mysterious story through music. Young performers from Marywood's String Project, as well as students from schools in Philadelphia and Oklahoma, will join forces the Marywood Orchestra for this premier. Other works performed include The Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saens, Overture to The Barber of Seville by Rossini, as well as folk song based music by Vaughan Williams.
