Conducted by Dr. Rick Hoffenberg, will present Gustav Holst's orchestral cycle The Planets and Claude Debussy's three-movement tone poem Nocturnes. Both pieces feature a wordless female chorus which the composers utilize in innovative ways. Women from the Marywood University Concert Choir and Wyoming Seminary Madrigal Singers will comprise the chorus.

The Wyoming Seminary Civic Orchestra conducted by Dr. Rick Hoffenberg will present Gustav Holst's orchestral cycle The Planets and Claude Debussy's three-movement tone poem Nocturnes. Both pieces feature a wordless female chorus which the composers utilize in innovative ways. Women from the Marywood University Concert Choir and Wyoming Seminary Madrigal Singers will comprise the chorus. The concert will take place in the Sette LaVerghetta Center Auditorium at 8:00 PM on Monday, May 8. The Orchestra and Chorus will perform the same program at 8 PM on Sunday, May 7, at the Kirby Center for Creative Arts on the campus of Wyoming Seminary in Kingston, PA.
