Students in Service
In the context of Catholic Social Teaching and the Marywood University Mission, students devote an average of 60,000 hours annually to volunteer service, including local, regional, national and international outreach to children, families, seniors, and communities. Under the direction of Campus Ministry, the campus community explores the relationship between faith and higher education, as well as opportunities for liturgy, prayer, spiritual and moral development, and empowering students and community members for leadership roles in Church and society. In 2009, the University's service record was recognized when Marywood was named to The President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for exemplary service efforts and service to America's communities.

Financial Aid
Marywood University offers a comprehensive program of financial aid to assist students in meeting educational costs. In addition to federal and state-funded programs based on demonstrated financial need, more than $22 million in institutional aid is awarded annually to Marywood students. 98 percent of first-time students receive some form of financial aid.
Economic Impact
825 full- and part-time employees. $125 million in campus facility construction 2001-2009. According to NEPA Alliance, Marywood University contributes $140,581,000 annually to the regional economy (2006 figures).
