Fall 2015

Peter Castelline ’88

2015 Award of Excellence in Liberal Arts and Sciences

Peter Castelline has achieved success by the numbers. He received his B.S. degree in Accounting from Marywood before going on to earn his M.B.A. from Wilkes University, then licensure as a Certified Public Accountant. All of this, he earned “by the numbers,” utilizing the tried-and-true algorithm: hard work and determination, multiplied by study, skill, and a commitment to excellence—exactly the same qualities that made him outstanding as a student.

The ledger of Pete Castelline’s professional life has included a number of prominent companies whose focuses ranged from providing major disaster relief services nationally and internationally, to vehicle transmission recovery and repair, to creating and marketing festive paper products. Today, as the Chief Financial Officer of Auto Glass Fitters, one of the area’s premier glass service providers, he brings 28 years of experience in finance, corporate accounting, and management—plus considerable expertise in accounting systems development, fiscal management, and financial reporting. He also has served his alma mater on the Marywood Alumni Association Board.

It is indeed an impressive résumé. Peter Castelline’s fellow graduates are pleased to add to it by naming him recipient of the Award of Excellence in Liberal Arts and Sciences in this, the University’s Centennial Year of 2015.
