Academic Search Elite (EBSCOhost)
A multi-disciplinary database that offers full text for more than 1,850 scholarly journals including 1,300 peer-reviewed titles. It offers full text information dating as far back as 1985

Academic Video Online
Academic Video Online features a single, fully integrated platform, offering access to tens of thousands of full-length streaming video titles. Virtually every video in the collection is fully transcribed in addition to being indexed for subjects, people, places, release date, language, publisher, and video type.

Artstor
A digital library of approximately 550,000 images in the areas of Art, Architecture, Cultural Studies, History, Anthropology, Canadian Studies, Indigenous Studies, Modern Languages, English, Classical Studies

ATLA Catholic Periodical and Literature Index® (ATLA CPLI®)
Provides indexing of periodicals, essay collections, church documents, papal documents and electronic resources expressly addressing the practice and intellectual tradition of Roman Catholicism. ATLA CPLI contains indexing from 1981 to the present and is updated quarterly. Content within its scope is selected for indexing based on enduring scholarly merit.

Credo Reference
A online reference library that provides access to 516 hundred highly-regarded titles from over 70 publishers, including dictionaries, encyclopedias and quotation books that cover a wide variety of subject areas plus its biographical information.

ERIC (EBSCOhost)
ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center, provides access to education literature and resources. The database provides full text of more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals. ERIC documents since October 2002 ("ED" numbers) are available in PDF format at GPO Access.

ERIC (eric.ed.gov)
Another way to access the ERIC database of educational materials from the ERIC Institute of Education Sciences covering education literature from preschool to higher and adult education.

Google Scholar
Provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles. From off-campus sites, go to Google Scholar Preference page, and search for Marywood University. Then check the Marywood University box. You will be asked for your Marywood e-mail login to get access to articles that are part of Marywood's collection.

HighWire Press
Full-text access to nearly 300 highly cited journals, plus simultaneous, searchable access to all of MEDLINE. HighWire Press is the world's largest archive of free, peer-reviewed, full-text life sciences research with over 380,000 free full-text articles. The journals HighWire supports focus on science, technology, and medicine.

JSTOR Scholarly Archive
Full-text scholarly archives of journal articles. Subjects Covered: African-American Studies, Anthropology, Architecture, Asian Studies, Ecology, Economics, Education, Finance, History, Literature, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Population Studies, Sociology, Statistics, General Science Collection. Note that current issues (from the past 2-5 years) are not included.

Lexis-Nexis
Full-text newspaper and magazine articles, business and company information, legal research, medical news and journal articles, general reference, congressional reports and publications, and a lot more.

Literature Resource Center
Provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from every age and literary discipline. Covers more than 120,000 novelists, poets, essayists, journalists, and other writers, with in-depth coverage of 2,500 of the most-studied authors.

NCJRS
A federally funded resource offering justice and substance abuse information to support research, policy, and program development worldwide. The NCJRS Abstracts Database contains summaries of more than 180,000 criminal justice publications.

New York Times
Current New York Times, the official U.S. newspaper because it publishes the complete text of important documents, speeches and presidential press conferences.

Philosopher's Index
Covers the areas of ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy, political philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysic logic as well as material on the philosophy of law, religion, science, history, education, and language.

PsycARTICLES
Contains more than 100,000 full-text articles from 59 peer-reviewed journals and chapters from selected APA books.

PSYCINFO (EBSCOhost)
Covers the international literature in psychology and related behavioral and social sciences including psychiatry, sociology,anthropology, education, pharmacology and linguistics.

ScienceDirect
Includes the full text of 91 Academic Press journals. The database improves access to scientific journals starting with the complete 1996 issues. Subject areas covered in this database are applied sciences, social sciences, dentistry, medicine, nursing, economics, business law and finance.

Web of Knowledge:Social Sciences Citation Index
Social Sciences Citation Index is a multidisciplinary index to the journal literature of the social sciences. Researchers can search citation data (from the footnotes of each article), taking a known, relevant paper or work and finding other, more recent papers that cite it. The database offers expanded search options, including the ability to locate all cited authors (not just first authors), track times cited information, and hotlink to first and subsequent generation articles.
