Java-enabled Browsers

Some services at Marywood University require the use of a Java-enabled browser.

If your browser is not Java-enabled you may see a message 'Sorry your browser is not Java enabled,' or simply be unable to load the log in screen.

The following software is recommended:

Windows users: Netscape 2.0, or higher. Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher
MAC users should use MS Internet Explorer 3.01b or higher, or Netscape 4.0 or higher.
Win 3.1 users can use Netscape 3.01 Beta with Java for Windows 3.1.

Software can be downloaded from the Netscape and Microsoft sites.

Special Directions for AOL Users

If your AOL browser does not work with our services, while you are connected to AOL, go to the Word Wide Web, minimize the AOL window and launch a Java-enabled browser.

Your computer may already have an appropriate browser installed. Check the information above to find out which version you need and where it can be acquired if you need to download one.
