Revisions to Previously Approved Research
Should a researcher wish to make a change, however minor, to a protocol which has already been approved, s/he must submit to the appropriate board a:
- Request for Revisions to IRB Approved Research form to the Institutional Review Board (Full or Expedited research), OR
- Revisions/Changes form to the Exempt Review Committee (Exempt research)
Revisions may include, but are not limited to, the following changes or additions:
- Co-investigators or research assistants
- Instruments
- Recruitment methods
- Participating agency
- Location of research
- Participants
