I had a friend and classmate who taught me to understand differences, be accepting, challenge what needs change, be part of the solution and most of all, to enjoy life fully. Her name was Lucille Amico. She was unique at Marywood in our time there, as she had a significant disability. She also had many friends, including professors who won her admiration. Sadly she passed away too soon, but she changed my life and I am forever thankful to Lucille.
