Sr. Alphonsa in the Music department was the person that made a difference in my life. I dont think that she knew how important she was to me. My first few years of college, I was homesick beyond all doubt. I spent three years feeling lost. I didnt know what I was doing but I did know that I could sing! That was the only place that I could feel sucessful. I loved her and felt comitted to singing. she gave me direction and expected more of me than I expected of myself. She had a way of expecting things of me but making me feel comfortable and accepted. She was an inspiration to me. I appreciated her then and still think of her now.
