As part of Marywood's month of thanks, we invite you to share your memories, wisdom and messages of thanks as we approach our Centennial in 2015. Your responses will be part of our time capsule which will be buried in our Centennial year. This Centennial time capsule will be buried on the site of the Motherhouse Memorial, linking our future to our very beginnings.
Please consider making a gift in memory of your experiences at Marywood.
I could never express just how thankful I am to my family away from home - my peers, mentors, and friends at Marywood. Without each and every one of you, I would not amount to half of the person I am today. I am so blessed to be surrounded by people who are so willing to be a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, and/or a voice of guidance. I am surrounded by a phenomenal staff in the psychology department and am proud to say that I am growing as a young adult and within my education. As far as peers, I am beyond fortunate to have met such wonderful and brave women in my Stress and Coping class, and I can honestly say that these women have changed my life and helped me grow to be a stronger and better person – one day at a time. I am blessed to have correspondence with BFLF and I thank the faculty and staff in Swartz for opening that door for me and for continuing to do so with my impending service trip this spring. Last, but certainly not least, I would like to acknowledge my friends and classmates. Thank you for being an unconditional support system, for providing relief from the stresses of collegiate life, and for being a beacon of hope. I love you all. Thank you and may you be blessed now and all the days that follow.
