Microsoft Word 2007

When I begin typing in Word it seems to be double spacing all of the time. I thought I changed it but it never seems to single space. How can I fix this?

I do not like the default font (Calibri) that Word now uses. How can I change it and make it "stick"?

 

When I begin typing in Word it seems to be double spacing all of the time.  I thought I changed it but it never seems to single space.  How can I fix this?

  1. Go to the Page Layout tab.
  2. Locate the Paragraph section and click on the Dialog Box Launcher arrow (to the right of the word Paragraph).
  3. Locate the Spacing section in the Paragraph dialog box.
  4. Set Before and After to 0 and also Line Spacing to Single.
  5. Click Default.
  6. Click Yes.

  3. Change the font and also the style and size if you want.
  4. Click Default.
  5. Click Yes.
