2012-2013 Graduate Financial Aid Application
School of Social Work and Administrative Studies MSW Degree Program Students
Central Pennsylvania Program Student Not Eligible
All material must be submitted by April 15, 2012.

Dear MSW Degree Program Financial Aid Applicant,

File a complete admissions application. It is fully expected that each MSW Degree Program prospective student who is a financial aid applicant will have a complete admissions application on file with the Office of Graduate Admissions by April 15, 2012.

Complete the financial aid application electronically. The application itself is on a secure server. You must press "yes" if your browser asks you if you wish to display secure items, otherwise Marywood University will not receive any of the information you type on the application upon submission. International students are not eligible for need-based financial aid from the School of Social Work MSW Degree Financial Aid Program.

Complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The 2012-2013 FAFSA must document financial need for these financial aid awards. The 2012-2013 FAFSA may be completed electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Part-time students in MSW Degree Program who receive graduate financial aid must be enrolled for at least 6 credits in both the Fall 2012 semester and the Spring 2013 semester.

Full-time students in the MSW Degree Program must enroll for 13 or more credits in both the Fall 2012 semester and the Spring 2013 semester. If you receive a full-time status need-based grant and enroll for less than 13 credits in either of these semesters, your award will be reduced to reflect your part-time program status.

Current School of Social Work MSW Degree Program students must have at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average to receive financial aid awards.

Prospective and current MSW Degree Program students for the Central Pennsylvania Program are not eligible for need-based aid. Marywood University provides a discount tuition package to all students of the Central Pennsylvania Program.

Financial aid award results will be mailed in June 2012. These awards are available for use beginning Fall 2012; they may only be used for Marywood courses.

Students awarded graduate assistantships for the 2012-2013 academic year who accept those positions are not eligible to receive financial aid awards as well.

Neither financial aid nor assistantship awards are renewed automatically each year. It is the responsibility of the student to reapply each academic year online by the appropriate deadlines.
