School of Social Work Merit Scholarship Program

The graduate admission application serves as the academic merit scholarship application for prospective graduate students to the School of Social Work. School of Social Work Merit Scholarships may only be garnered at the time of acceptance to the University. The departmental academic progress file serves as the scholarship application for current graduate students in the School of Social Work. There are no other documentation obligations for merit scholarship consideration for prospective and current School of Social Work graduate students.

Prospective School of Social Work graduate students should adhere closely to the graduate admission application deadline. Prospective students selected to receive a merit scholarship will be notified soon after they receive their admission acceptance packet.

Prospective and current graduate students from the School of Social Work who wish to be considered for graduate assistantship should use the Master's Degree, Educational Specialist Degree, and Post-Baccalaureate Assistantship Application.

Prospective and current graduate students from the School of Social Work may also apply each academic year for School of Social Work Financial Aid and Social Justice Incentive Scholarships. Please see each scholarship description to assess your eligibility.

Prospective and current social work students for the Central Pennsylvania Program (Bloomsburg Campus) are not eligible for merit-based aid. Marywood University provides a discount tuition package to all students of the Central Pennsylvania Program.
