
The Curriculum Lab & Library is a curriculum materials center designed to support the specialized needs of Marywood's teacher education students. The facility includes:
- A library collection that contains both education books and K-12 textbooks.
- An Ellison®Machine used for cutting letters, numbers, and shapes for bulletin boards.
- A laminating machine for preserving and reusing teaching aides.
- Televisions for viewing videos or DVDs for class assignments.
- A study area with ample tables and countertop space for working on projects, meeting with group members, studying, tutoring, and class visits.
- A reserve section for printed course reserv
es.
A computer lab within the library features:
- Nine iMacs and five Windows-based PC's, loaded with a variety of educational software.
- A color inkjet printer for class assignments that specifically require color. (Please note: the color printer is to be used ONLY for class assignments. All other use is prohibited.)
- HP Scanjet scanner
- Intellitools Classroom Suite for special education use
- Assistive technology software (on PC's only)
Students may check out items from the Curriculum Library just as they would at the "main library" -- the Learning Resource Center. A valid student, staff or faculty ID is needed.

Located in the building in which most teacher education classes are held,the Curriculum Lab is a convenient place to meet with classmates to work on group projects.
