INFUSING THE ARTS in our Community: ARTS ALIVE Visual Arts Faculty

The exhibition of Arts Alive 2013 faculty and teaching assistants, showcases their creativity, professionalism, and range of mediums that infuse the visual arts in our community. Sponsored by the Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit, Arts Alive is an intensive summer arts institute in both the visual and performing arts for students in grades three to twelve. An award-winning program, it places students and professional artists side by side. The visual arts component, primarily based in the Art Department at Marywood University, offers ceramics, mixed media, 3D/sculpture, graphic arts, illustration, painting, and visual art taught by faculty who are rostered artists with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Participating faculty and teaching assistants include: Marina Daniels, Earl W. Lehman, Ted Michalowski, Elizabeth Parry-Faist, Leigh Pawling, Rainy Pritchett, Gina Rice, Skip Sensbach, Nancy Yamin, and Kyle J. Zielinski.
