Illustrators vary greatly in how they solve the problem of storytelling, each striving to create attention–grabbing and memorable imagery. In 2012 many of the top illustrators in the business were invited to present one work for a show that was being curated under the auspices of Mercer Gallery at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY. The challenge: enter the best and favorite illustration you have ever done. The result: an excellent survey of contemporary illustration by 57 internationally known illustrators.
