Mary Billingsley art

Please join us at Marywood University for the following exhibition openings on October 5th, from 2 – 5 pm.

Mahady Gallery – Shields Center for the Arts

“Watercolor and Wonder: Shrines” by Mary Billingsley, M.F.A.

Each work begins with the gathering of significant objects for a still life or "stage set" depicting an aspect of Christ's life. Some of the compositional elements are obvious religious symbols while others, everyday found objects, indirectly evoke the subject and help to draw the viewer into the painting.

Suraci Gallery – Shields Center for the Arts

Scrolls” by the late Ana Maria Carmona Cusick.

Part of the extensive Carmona Collection, donated to Marywood University by her husband, Daniel L. Cusick, these Chinese scrolls convey her deep knowledge of China, its spirit and its beauty.  Working in traditional Chinese styles, Carmona has carried time-honored modes into the new millennium.

Kresge Room – Insalaco Center for Studio Arts

“Marywood Print Guild – Annual Exhibition”

All three exhibitions run from October 5th through November 2nd. Gallery hours are Monday – Friday 9 – 4 and Saturday 1 - 4
