Michael Meehan

Class of 2014
Hometown: Stillwater, NJ
Major: International Business & Minor in Spanish
How will foreign language impact your future? I'm looking forward to experience as much of the world as possible, and foreign language is the key that opens the door to those experiences. In International Business, the ability to speak a foreign language and to understand the cultures of these foreign countries is imperative for success, and foreign languages provide that very crucial aspect.

Only those are fit to live who do not fear to die; and none are fit to die who have shrunk from the joy of life and the duty of life. Both life and death are parts of the same Great Adventure. -Theodore Roosevelt

Paige Morrison

Class of 2015
Hometown: Athens, PA
Major: History & Minors in Spanish and Peace & Justice Studies
How will foreign language impact your future? The ability to communicate and personally connect with Spanish-speaking persons, whether it be in this country or areas that I travel to, will be hugely beneficial in my future. Also, I am hoping to enter the education field after graduation, and knowing a second language is a great advantage when job-seeking.

We all smile in the same language.

Bianca Noel

Class of 2016
Hometown: Cheltenham, PA
Major: Pre-PA & Duel Minor in Spanish and Nutrition
How will foreign language impact your future? The ability to fluently speak three languages will certaqinly be useful as a Physician Assistant.  With an increase of Spanish speakers, it is essential for medical practices to have personnel capable of relaying information in a way one can understand.  My use of Spanish has already gotten me this far in life, but I hope to continue on in ways that will benefit the lives of others.
