What's Happening?

Join with Marywood's World Language Club as we plan our annual events which include dynamic campus and community activities.

  • Christmas Dinner will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8th at Bellissimo's at 6pm.
  • Trip to New York

  • Marywood Students Selected as Cultural Ambassadors to Spain

  • Immersion Day was held Thursday, October 11, 2012.

  • Hispanic Heritage Month
    September 15th through October 15th

  • El Día de los Muertos
    Spanish Mass on Sunday, October 28th at 7:30 pm. Reception to follow in lobby of the Swartz Center. 

  • Foreign Language Movie Night
    Alternate Monday evenings at 7pm in the Comerford Theatre 

  • Latin Dance

  • Phi Sigma Iota Induction Ceremony

  • La Mesa Española
    Lunch with Spanish faculty the first Wednesday of each month at 12 in Nazareth Dining Hall. 

 

Community Involvement

  • Easter Egg Hunt: Translating for Hispanic parents and children from Evangelical Bible Free Church

  • Thanks"giving": Delivery of food baskets to Hispanic families in need

  • School Supplies: Handing out school supplies to needy Hispanic children
