WILLIAM CONLOGUE Ph.D., University of Maryland William Conlogue joined the English Department in 1995. A native of northeastern Pennsylvania, he completed his undergraduate and master's degrees at the University of Scranton. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park. In addition to teaching introductory and advanced writing, he teaches a variety of courses in American literature. He has published several scholarly articles on American literature and the profession of English. His book, Working the Garden: American Writers and the Industrialization of Agriculture, was published by the University of North Carolina Press. Courses
