Neal Shusterman

This book is, by far, one of the best young adult novels I've read in a long time. The book is set in a future where parents have the option of retroactively aborting their teenage children through a process called "unwinding." The book follows three unwinds as they struggle to survive to their eighteenth birthdays. Unwind is so much more than a young adult novel. Thought provoking and entertaining, Unwind raises interesting questions about life, choice, and adolescence.
