Adjunct Faculty: History
Summary of Duties
The Marywood University Social Sciences Department seeks one or more Adjunct Instructors to teach introductory courses in American, European, and World history in the 2021-2022 academic year. In particular, the department expects a need for instructors to teach the following courses: HIST 101 20th Century World History and/or HIST 105 Ethnicity and Diversity, a course that explores race, ethnicity, and discrimination in US history. The department's expectation is that successful candidates will be available to teach face-to-face classes during daytime or evening hours.
Requirements
Educational
Masters degree in History required; college teaching experience preferred. A commitment to teaching excellence is paramount.
