Assistant Professor (Per annum or Assistant Professor of Practice) (#9)

Summary of Duties

The Marywood Department of Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science invites applications for a per annum instructor of Computer Science/Information Security beginning August 2020.  


  • Educational:

    Qualified candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a Master’s degree in Information (Cyber) Security with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Ph. D is preferred; ABD considered.

  • Work Experience Requirements:

    Prior college teaching as a primary instructor and/or background in Information Security preferred

  • Essential Elements:

    Responsibilities include:

    • Teaching a range of undergraduate courses in Computer Science/Information Security, and some lower-level undergraduate mathematics courses as needed.
    • Student advisement, University, professional, and community service are expected.
