Marywood University has been designated as a vaccination site for distribution of the H1N1 vaccine to our student and employee population who fall in the target group of 24 years of age or younger. The University will administer the vaccine according to PA Department of Health (PA DOH) guidelines for target populations.
We will have one more vaccination clinic on Tuesday, November 17 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.in the O'Neill Center for Healthy Families in the Physician Assistant Program offices. Security will be in the main lobby of the O'Neill Center to check ID's and direct you to the clinic.
Students and employees who are 24 and younger may still come for the vaccine.
In addition we will open the vaccination clinic to Marywood students and employees who:
* Have underlying conditions such as diabetes, lung conditions, heart conditions or immune system problems
* Are pregnant
* Are health care workers
* Are care givers for at risk populations (young children, individuals with underlying conditions)
We will also open the vaccination clinic to family members of Marywood students and employees who fall in one of the above-listed groups. Family members must be accompanied by the Marywood student or employee.
You will need to bring proof of age and a Marywood ID in order to be vaccinated.
If you have specific medical questions please call Student Health Services (x6249) or stop by the clinic and ask to speak to Mrs. Linda McDade.
This will be the final H1N1 vaccination clinic on campus for high-risk target groups. We must return any unused supplies to the PA Department of Health so that they can be used for other high-risk target groups around the county.
