Education Department: General Science 7-12 Certification

Have you ever pictured yourself standing in front of a group of individuals teaching them your passion for science?

Marywood's General Science Education program will help you do this! The program provides a strong background in biology and the physical sciences so that you may become an effective teacher in these areas. You'll learn basic concepts in biology, chemistry, math, and physics, as well as more advanced concepts in areas such as molecular biology, anatomy, microbiology, and ecology.

Lab work is required, because we believe that the teachers of tomorrow are also the scientists of tomorrow.
