On the Floor of the Senate

Education Majors Ilse Spilde, Leanne Feeney along with Prof. Joseph Polizzi lobbied state legislators in April for an annual excursion in conjunction with the Association of Independent Colleges and Universites of Pennsylvania.  Students met Senate and House Representatives from both sides of the aisle to discuss the Pennsylvania Middle Income Student Grant, and other issues important to strengthening and supporting education in the state.

Ten students were inducted into the Sigma Pi Epsilon Delta and twelve into Kappa Delta Pi this spring. These students demonstrated excellence in academics, service and teaching. Parents, faculty and friends attended to celebrate this honorable occasion.
