Current Position: Title I Reading Specialist, Riverside School District, Moosic, PA

“Marywood University provided me with a strong, well-rounded education, that helped prepare me for life both in and out of the classroom. I will forever cherish the memories and friends that I made, and am truly grateful for all of the opportunities I had during my time at Marywood.”

I graduated as Valedictorian from Marywood University in 2007 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Then, I proceeded to University of Pennsylvania in the fall and earned an M.S.Ed. in Reading, Writing, and Literacy and Reading Specialist Certification. Upon completion of the program I was hired by the Riverside School District as a Title I Reading Specialist. In September 2008, I became a Board Member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Reading Association. In Fall 2010 I was nominated as the Vice President of the organization. In Fall 2012 I became the President of the organization. I am also an active member of Queen of the Apostles Parish in Avoca, Pennsylvania.
