Michael and Dolores Insalaco have been loyal benefactors of Marywood University since their original gift – to create a scholarship for a student from their community. The couple has gone on to provide leadership support to numerous projects, including the Insalaco Center for Studio Arts and the Insalaco Arena. Michael Insalaco has served on the University’s Board of Trustees, including service as Board Chair. He currently serves as Trustee Emeritus.
“It is difficult to describe in words how satisfying this has been - how rewarding it is to know that we have made a difference for this excellent university, for students here now, and for students who are yet to come.”
In recognition of their generous philanthropic support and untiring service to Marywood University, the Insalaco College of Creative Arts and Management, the Insalaco Center for Studio Arts, and the Insalaco Arena are all named in honor of Michael and Dolores Insalaco.
The St. Alphonsus Society, named in memory of St. Alphonsus Liguori, a patron saint of the IHM Congregation and of Marywood University, honors the University’s most faithful benefactors, who have made significant lifetime commitments to Marywood.
