Internship/Field Experience

You'll find plenty of opportunities to increase your knowledge and put theory into practice in the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre region. Criminal Justice majors gain experience in probation and parole at such settings as the District Attorney's office and the U.S. Marshals Service. Students in education begin their field experience in their first year; field experience culminates in senior year student teaching. All majors have opportunities to deepen their professional preparation through international travel and study. In addition, you'll have the chance to learn from speakers brought to campus by student clubs and department honor societies to conduct seminars and give lectures.
