How do I prepare for the General test?

One of the best ways to prepare for the General test is to purchase a book or self-help software. These materials provide you with tutorials (to brush up on your knowledge), practice exams, and scoring percentages so you can guage if any areas need improvement. There are also websites which provide much information. Please check our links page.

Another way to prepare is by taking classes designed to improve your knowledge in these specified areas. Seminars are periodically available throughout the country. Check with your college or university on the availability of these programs.

When should I start preparing?

You should start preparing as soon as possible! Whenever your schedule allows, take some time to go over your materials. Students who study at least a few months ahead of time are more comfortable with the subject matter.
