Overview

The Didactic Program (DPD) leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. After completing this program, students need to pursue an accredited internship or an approved route to registration to take the National Registration Examination for Dietitians. For this program, 54 credits in nutrition and dietetics are required. Specific science and math courses are necessary to meet accreditation standards.

Marywood’s Didactic Program in Nutrition and Dietetics is currently granted accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of The American Dietetic Association 120 South Riverside Plaza, Chicago, IL 60606, 312/899-5400.
